Tonight I will be interviewing two authors from the African American Authors Expo.
Robin T. Dorsey is a native of Washington, DC/Maryland. She is an extraordinary motivational speaker, entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, and mother. She is also the American Diabetes Wellness Ambassador in which she teaches Diabetes workshops. As an advocate, she raises money and awareness for the cure for Diabetes, Aids, Breast Cancer, and Lupus through her organization The Gem's Social Club. A Mother & Daughter Memoirs of Love, Desire, Pain & Inspiration - Published by Authors: Robin T. Dorsey and Renita T. Mock (a mother and daughter duo). It was the dreams and aspirations of the authors to write and publish their poetry book together. Unfortunately, Renita T. Mock died on March 12, 2013 after battling an aggressive "2 year" strain of Breast Cancer. Her Daughter's (Robin T. Dorsey, Denitria Washington, and Lakisha Mock known as "The Fantastic Four" which included their mom) wanted to make this dream a reality and the birth of the project transcended.
In our second hour author Ondrea L. Davis joins us to discuss her book How could my husband br Gay? She is a native of Washington DC. After living the fantasy dream life Ondrea finds out her husband is gay.
