Guys this is the begining of along journey for all kenyans in the globe and today Robinson,Mosomi and Heb will be addressing the issue of need for unity so that we both prosper and help our beloved nation. The word "Diaspora" has taken on several meanings over the years. The original meaning is refers to the Diaspora as a dispersion of an originally homogeneous entity, such as a language or culture. Today, the term Diaspora encompasses a dispersion or scattering of a people with a common origin, national identity, background, beliefs, culture and other attributes from their original homeland by currently away from an established or ancestral homeland. Hence Kenyan Diaspora are those who still maintain culture, language, national or ethnic identity, beliefs ,social and political ties to their homeland and who now seek to be fully included in the running of their nation-state. The joint committee that is described herein has specific functions as is outlined in the "About Us" page, but at the outset, creates a joint platform for cooperation between various groups who conform to the socio-political agenda of the committee. The Committee is not a new movement or organization, but really a pressure group designed to make statements, initiate actions [such as legal action] and principally be a "voice" for the Kenyan Diaspora as regards the social-political development of our beloved nation, Kenya.
