Interview with Monument

The center of attention from a young age, Walex Khmurets has been front-manning bands ever since his first guitar. After the breakup of his last band, Walex decided to put down his Schecter Hellraiser and instead raise hell with a MicroKorg XL. Armed with a heavy metal background and passion for in-your-face music, the young DJ burns the midnight oil by pushing synthesizers to their extremes. His ambition, hard work, and attention to detail are reflected in Monument’s unyielding sound. Motivated by love for pounding drums and walls of distortion, Walex brings these principles to modern dance music. His mission is to get feet moving and heads banging.
