Delores Thornton is a true marketing and promotion guru! She knows how to organize, create a winning project and spread the word about what she's working on! I also love that she is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who continues to go after her dreams and her passion. Her new book "Airing Dirty Linen" is due out around March 2010! After reading her books "Ida Mae" and "Babe," I am definitely looking forward to reading "Airing Dirty Linen!" My one hour feature interview with Delores was a blast this morning! She shares valuable tips and advice on how you can market and promote your work be that books, other products or services. I met Delores about 10 years ago. That's when Essence bestselling author, Tracey Price-Thompson, Zane, Maxine Thompson and I were starting out in the book business. Delores was one traveling and touring woman. I don't think she travels as much as she used to, but she's still going strong. One thing she told me that she thinks is good is updating your website every now and then. Curious to know what those of you at Blog Talk Radio think. Do you update and change your website every 1-5 years? Or have you found it beneficial to stick with the same website? I know major corporations I have worked with don't update their websites that much. I think that is because they have a solid brand and they don't want to risk creating a new perception that could influence their established brand. Check out the feature interview with Delores Thornton by clicking the link directly below: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Denise-Turney- Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about the show! Thanks! Denise Blogging it Up!
