We will be discussing the new book that Lynn is working on, “The Martial Art of Life, The Art of Intentional Living” Lynn Fabia is a highly regarded teacher, author and visionary with twenty-eight years of extensive experience in Aikido. She carries the rank of 6th degree black belt and is known as the female Aikido pioneer in the southwest. She has taken the art of Aikido from the dojo into the community: colleges, universities, and spoken to diverse groups and Foundations, i.e. Life Beyond Trauma, National Speakers of North Texas, to children of the “I have a dream foundation”. She speaks to women of domestic abuse. In 2002, she founded the Society of Aikido Centers, becoming the first female chief instructor of an international Aikido organization in the U.S. In 2004, Ms. Fabia was given recognition by the Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame for her dedication and accomplishments as a martial artist. Publicized in various media: television, radio, D magazine and newspapers. I am happy to talk with her about her first publication, “The Martial Art of Life, The Art of Intentional Living.”
