Black history, black families, and black relationships all under a theme of empowerment are celebrated in the books of renowned author Beverly Jenkins. Ms Jenkins’ historical romance novels highlight African/American life in the 19th century. She has 21 published novels to date. Her latest work: The Blessing Series beautifully incorporates a historic black town in Kansas and the serious topic of adoption of older African American children.
