A few years ago Kevin had a tumor on one of his kidneys- it was removed; now he has one kidney that’s functioning at 10% and will soon have to have dialysis. Kevin needs a kidney asap; the National Kidney Foundation recommends that patients with end-stage renal failure get a transplant before having to start dialysis.
