Resolve: Query – If the mind is lost, where does the soul’s thought grow and reside?
Does my voice and soul need to be suppressed so that I can no longer be free and spirit no longer hide?
Or is it that you fear what I would truly express from this soul inside?
Maybe Mr. Lynch thinks I nor you did not have nor ever had a soul
Perhaps a second Harlem Renaissance to re-educate the world on the greatest history and legacy story that has yet to be fully told
Shocked at my statement- Look at how we engage and slay one another; no truer statement could be so profound
Do not scream or berate my protest too loudly for I speak from the heart where only the essence can be heard beyond a whisper, can you hear its sound?
Judge me for my mind and vision
Stop destroying ourselves by hatred, lies, pettiness, clannishness behavior and senseless division
If the mind is dead can truly the body and soul live?
Who determines the depth and worth of one soul if the vision is not clear and insight not deemed relative?
Are we restless in the mind for we are longing for passion, promises fulfilled and even peace?
Perhaps all we seek for ourselves individually can be found as a collective; if only we dare to extend our reach
Query – What lesson and legacy would you like to help me teach?
Freedom and bliss reside beyond the fortress of our trapped minds; do we dare fight for freedom and these self-imposed walls breach?
