Tory Johnson is wild about small business success, which she traces to being unexpectedly fired from a job she loved. The permanent scar from that pink slip led Tory to shift from employee to entrepreneur. She’s built two multi-million-dollar businesses—Women For Hire and Spark & Hustle—while serving as a Good Morning America contributor, New York Times bestselling author, contributing editor to SUCCESS magazine and a popular speaker. Her sixth book, Spark & Hustle, is available nationwide June 2012.
As founder of Women For Hire, Tory Johnson is a mentor to dozens of women throughout the country, providing one-on-one guidance on both career advancement and entrepreneurship. Tory founded Women For Hire after serving in corporate communications positions at ABC News, NBC News and Nickelodeon. She now lives in New York City with her husband and children.
Additionally, Tory does workplace segments on Good Morning America, where she's been a contributor for six years, Tory also produces and reports GMA's exclusive "Secret Steals" segments. Through this, she's promoted giant brands and introduced viewers to unknown small businesses.
