POETRY CORNER I pray that these poems will encourage and bless your heart Blessing's in disguise Sometimes things are blessings that come in disguise When we're disappointed we should realize that if a situation had turned out as we planned it may not have been Gods best and we shouldn't settle for less so praise God from whom all blessings flow greater things are to come to those who know he's in control Pray without ceasing and you will come to see that as we thank him daily that his way will be His ways and thoughts are higher and better than our own What better power to receive than directly from the throne Though his timing may be different or sometimes seem to slow we need to praise our Father from whom all blessings flow Copyright © 2008 by Deborah Finley
Beautiful Feet
No other form of transportation was available in the day
They were carriers of information and walked a long long way
In sandals that were made without comfort being in mind
to protect the bottom of their feet, was the only reason why
To bring a message of power, whether it took a week or more
They knew of the importance of speaking for the Lord
His words were filled with power and every time that they were spoken
Faith in hearts were created and hearts were healed, that once were broken
There’s something much more lovelier than the look of pretty shoes
How beautiful are the feet of them that bring good news.

From Gods heart to ours his love is so true in the form of his son he came here for you God in the flesh Jesus the son His spirit is here and there's work to be done we are his body listen to his heart It's beating with love as it has from the start As we humble ourselves and we seek his face his love will embrace us and we'll win the race.
