Having a c7 c8 spinal cord injury means that not only do I not walk but I only have control over certain internal organs with external devices. It means waiting for help to get dressed and all of my personal care for the day, getting out of bed and of course returning to bed. Sometimes it means not going to certain places because they have steps or if I do get in there is not an accessible ladies room to use. However to my delight it has brought me a 15 year relationship with an incredible man, a loving 11 year old son that I am able to raise with his fathers help and a relationship with the creator of everything good and wonderful that I never knew before 1990. Having Brucker biofeedback will mean not only freedom to me, but time to do more things with my husband like dancing or sending him to a football game with the fellows and he not have to worry if I'm okay, at home alone. For our son it will be a chance to go more places without me being concerned about being able to get to him should he need me. The creator loves us no matter how we worship him but should I decide to fall to my knees to pray I'll have that ability restored. Even if this procedure gives me just a little more independence I'll enjoy life even more. If you would like to help me on this journey please go to www.iamakbar.com to find where you can send your contributions. Thank you
