    Using A Mobile Petition

    Using A Mobile Petition

A mobile petition is on the cutting edge when it comes to communications and getting word to the masses about political ideas as well as other causes.  You can use a mobile petition in a variety of different ways, including text and video.  If you have a message or movement that you want to spread to the world, you can do so by getting a mobile petition growing.

Like any other type of petition, the mobile petition starts with a message.  The message should be strong as well as appeal to others.  It can be to elect a candidate, protest an injustice, support a humanitarian cause or just about anything else.  Most of the mobile petitions that circulate the internet are politically motivated.  Many today are a form of protest.  The mobile petition is one way that Americans can protest without having to gather in the streets.  And the protests from the internet can be just as powerful as street demonstrations.  You can look for the mobile petition to be the start of many political movements and protests in the future.

After the 2008 election of President Barack Obama, American saw the power of the internet in full force.  While this media was largely ignored by other politicians, Obama knew how to use it to his advantage.  He is still using the internet to make sure that his support base stands firm.  However, others have also caught on to how powerful this media tool can be.  The mobile petition is one way that the internet can be used to not only support candidates, but to protest actions made by congress and political leaders.

One very popular mobile petition that is currently circulating online is the Tea Party petition.  The Tea Party petition is a mobile petition that will ask you to join a cause and commit to action to protest against higher taxes and more spending that is the result of the recently passed stimulus bill, among other things.  Those who are fed up with increasing taxes are taking a cue from the forefathers and protesting with a Tea Party petition, reminiscent of the Boston Tea Party, which was all about taxes.

This is a mobile petition that started online and continued to grow.  The fact that this petition has become so widely spread online has drawn notice of other political operatives who will most likely use a mobile petition in the same way to support their causes.

With so many people getting their news and information on the internet, it makes sense to use this media to spread the word about any cause, political or otherwise.  Those who want to get the word out to a large number of people at one time, and allow it to sprout wings and grow, will take advantage of this media.  The Tea Party petition is just the start - look for a lot of growth and development when it comes to using the mobile petition for upcoming causes that involve political and other messages.
