  Navigating the often stormy waters that have raged in the historical conflict between traditional religion and ancient spirituality has been a lifelong challenge for the Rev. Dr. Thomas Schwartz, a seminary-trained Protestant minister who is also an astrologer, numerologist, psychic, and spiritual coach and teacher. From an early age, Dr. Schwartz had psychic experiences. However, upon entering the world of the formal church as a teenager, he found it to be an inhospitable and unfriendly environment for the pursuit of these personal spiritual gifts.
  
  As Dr. Schwartz pursued undergraduate and graduate studies in history, he became convinced that the conflict was not between Christianity and spirituality, but rather between a perversion of Christianity used to control and manipulate people for political purposes, and the genuine spiritual movement initiated by Jesus of Nazareth. “Furthermore, I discovered that this same problem affected virtually all world religions,” he said. “Whether it is groups of Buddhists fighting among themselves, or Jews in conflict with Muslims, or Hindus in conflict with Sikhs, or Protestants killing Roman Catholics in Northern Ireland, organized religion employed as a tool of partisan politics always leads to destruction and devastation.”
  
  After 14 years of full-time ministry as a pastor and hospice chaplain, Dr. Schwartz believes that the solutions to the great challenges facing our planet can only be found in reclaiming the great religious traditions of the world for Spirit, so that God’s will “may be done on earth, even as it is in Heaven.”

  Astrology/Unified Global Consciousness/Cardinal Climax with Jim Cummins

  For more than 40 years, Jim Cummins has been studying and practicing Astrology. His writings have appeared in numerous publications, and have been translated into several languages. Many of his students have become professional astrologers in their own right. Tonight, Jim will present a brief look into the constructs of an astology chart: how it works, and the basics of how to read it. Building on that information, he will discuss the forthcoming Cardinal Climax of Summer 2010, which spawns a series of 7 successive squares between Uranus and Pluto, beginning August 2010, and lasting through March, 2015 and and how the global conditions they will generate relate to similar cyclical events previously, such as in 1932-34, 1876-78, 1819-20, 1760 etc. His discussion will reveal numerous specific dates expected to impact the world strategically, during the next 6 years, and beyond. Also, he will specify which birthdates and which Zodiacal Signs will be most affected by the forthcoming Astrtological alignments. It is suggested that listeners to this broadcast have a pen and paper handy to copy those dates for future reference. Jim will also describe the portal humanity is now passing through leading to a Unified Global Consciousness that is already gathering in strength and momentum, and show how it dovetails with the Cardinal Climax, and ultimately overcomes it.
