Kids who have difficulty reading don't stand a chance in school or life. The good news is that any child can be taught to "work around" their learning disabilities. The trick is early identification and then taking action. This radio show is all about kids reading difficulties and what parents can do to make sure that their kids get the help they need. In the past I have interviewed my own daughter, Hannah who has learned to work around her reading disability with the help of a reading specialist. I have alwo interviewed her reading specialist. Future shows will feature parents and their kids, teachers and other guests who can help shed some light on the best ways to get help for their own children.
