The Modern Day Witch Trials with the Lady Liberty League

Modern day witch hunts do exist. This isn't the day to day discrimination that pagans, Heathens, and Wiccans may face. These are actually very real.

In many regions such as Africa, The Middle East, South America and Asia, many innocent people are accused of "Sorcery" or "witch craft" within their villages. Mainstream media bodies of those regions do feed into the paranoia that witches are the cause of every day problems such as sickness, financial losses, or infidelity. The punishment can be as harsh as execution for many people as young as 2 years of age.

In light of a Facebook Page called "Witches Must Die By Fire" which calls for the literal burning of witches, Florence Edwards-Miller is going to join us in recognizing the reality behind the motives of pages such as mentioned along with what takes place in these regions which punish or conduct harmful exorcisms of those accused.

We will be discussing not only that particular page, but what we can do as a community to take action and how to engage these groups on social media.
