About Us- "The Definitive Cinematic Retrospective"(DCR) is a classic movie, television, radio and other vintage media radio talk program. It 'airs' right over the internet LIVE Thursdays, so anyone in the world can listen. We cover films, books, television, radio, comic books and other vintage media from 1900 all the way up to 1970! That's the 'Golden Age!' But the fun part is that you can call in and talk, ask questions, comment about the films or program we're doing.

  The Shadow's 70th Anniversary Broadcast

  The Shadow, pulp and radio hero of the 30's, first broadcast was tonight over 70 years ago, Sept 26th 1937. We're proud to re-broadcast this for a new era to hear. This first program was thought to be lost for along time. Orson Wells was the first up to play The Shadow on radio. "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?" HAHAHAHAHAHA "The Shadow knows."

  70th Anniversary Shadow Broadcast 9/26/07

  The Shadow's first broadcast was over 70 years ago, Sept 26th 1937. We're proud to re-broadcast this for a new era to hear. This first program was thought to be lost for along time. Orson Wells was the first up to play The Shadow on radio.
