The Power of Poetics Blogtalk Show Welcomes Poet and Author Brenda Bunting!

Brenda Bunting is a socially conscious Poet, Spoken Word Artist, and Educator currently residing in Silver Spring, Maryland. Ms. Bunting inspires audiences with thought-provoking original written works and celebratory tributes that are designed to leave a lasting imprint in the consciousness of the audience. A University of Kentucky  Ms. Bunting has been writing and performing poetry for over 20 years works.

Brenda has been published in newspapers, anthologies, and journals. She also facilitates poetry workshops advocates the therapeutic benefits of writing poetry. On February 4, 2015, she will join us to read from her acclaimed book of poetry, ”Poems of Love and Violence in between Life and Death." In her book, she courageously and lyrically confronts the oft-times difficult topics of love, relationships and intimacy. The book is riveting and must be read!
