Pierce College Men's team comes into this tourny 1-0 in in pre-season. The Raidiers won 86-66 over North Seattle Community College. Shoreline come into the game after a high scoring winning performance against Northwest Indian College 113-112.
What would Thanksgiving weekend be without a three days filled with outstanding college basketball?? The Raider Men’s Basketball team will play host to some of the top community college basketball talent in the Pacific Northwest at the 8th Annual Raiders Thanksgiving Invitational Tournament. The eight team double-elimination tournament features four teams that played in the 2011 NWAACC Championships, including our Raiders who finished 2nd in the tournament finale.
The tournament opens on Friday, November 25, with game times and match-ups as follows: Game 1 -2:00 pm - Bellevue vs Linn-Benton (OR); Game 2 -4:00 pm – South Puget Sound vs Columbia Basin; Game 3 – 6:00 pm – Whatcom vs Lane; and Game 4 – 8:00 pm – Shoreline vs Pierce.
Saturday’s schedule of games: 1:00 pm – losers of games 1 & 2; 3:00 pm – losers of games 3 & 4; 5:00 pm – winners of games 1 & 2; and, 7:00 pm – winners of games 3 & 4. Sunday’s schedule features 3 games: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and the championship game at 3:00 pm. To view the full tournament bracket, click here:
