  We're Back!!!

  Greetings phriends and phans! Well, it's been two months, but WCR is finally back! I deeply apologize, but I've been dealing with computer issues beyond my control, not to mention a slew of other little bits of life getting in the way of all our fun.
  
  It's good to be back, and LD and I promise to strive even harder to bring you the best and most informative BDSM-themed show on the air. Accept no substitutes, pholks...the original is back and better than ever!

  Updates? UPDATES?!? We don't need no steenking updates!

  Greetings fans! Yeah...it's been awhile since a bloggy-type updatey sorta thing. Sorry. :( Between all the places WCR is showing up now, it seems Captain Genius here has neglected to update the site that matters the most!
  
  Anyways...we'd like to thank everyone for making WCR such a huge success. If you were part of the chatroom clusterf*ck last week, you got to see just how far we're reaching these days. We're happy to say that our audience is coming from wider and more diverse areas of the kink world of late, and we are trying very hard to keep the show interesting and up to the standards our fans are becoming used to. Thanks guys...now we gotta have standards. ;)
  
  For our fans who are a part of FetLife...we now have a "Friends of Wild Card Radio" group we hope you all join. This group will be an epicenter for news and discussion regarding our show in the near future.

  Another Day, Another Blog

  Greetings friends and fans. Things have been a little chaotic in the WCR offices of late! As you know, we've been having a hell of a time scheduling our guests for the third part of our three part series that began with "Doms" and "Subs". Our "Switches" show will take place, we're just not 100% sure when! Lady Stardust and I would rather bring you a well-thought-out show with insightful guests than simply do the show for the sake of doing it.
  
  Last week's show was one of those that went beyond what we'd planned, and was in the true spirit of "Wild Card Radio". We also found out that our two hosts actually DO disagree on a couple of things! Wow, that only took three months. :) In any case, we never got around to what was supposed to be the second half of our previous show. We'll be talking about that this week...edgier BDSM play and some of the positives in participating in them. We'll also be discussing risk in greater depth, and where we all differ in our chosen "lines" we won't cross. We hope to see you there!

  Of Series, Breaks, and Special Guests!

  Greeting folks! It's been a while since a proper update, so let's catch up, shall we? As you may know, Lady Stardust and I took a brief hiatus over the holiday weekend but we're back this week. Due to scheduling differences with a couple of guests, the third part of our "Doms, Subs, Switches" series is planned to air next week, July 16th. The first two segements were awesome, and among our highest-rated shows.
  
  In the space between, this week is all about fetish fiction and writers. We have two very special guests joining us this week! WCR is proud to welcome Anneke Jacob, author of the National Leather Association Award-winning novel "As She's Told". Also joining us will be The Bandito, creator and author of "Bounce Chix: Origins". (Not to mention the creator of our own gorgeous mascot, Penelope!)
  
  Two writers from opposite ends of the creative spectrum, one dealing in reality, the other in comic fantasy...but both with much to share about the creative process and the things that all successful fetish fiction has in common. I'll also be discussing my own work, which often splits the difference between these two polar opposites.
  
  We'll be discussing the individual works, reading a couple of excerpts and having a good time with our special guests. What makes a good story? How do we suspend disbelief in an often unbelievable genre? What are the all-too common pitfalls of would-be fetish writers? We'll cover it all!
  
  So join us, won't you? We're especially excited to welcome Anneke in her first appearance, and to have Bandito back on our show again.

  One Down..Two to Go!

  The first show in our three-part series of Doms, Subs and Switches is in the archives, and what a show it was! We were joined by lifestyle pro-Domina Mistress LeeAnn, and we are glad to have yet another friend of Wild Card Radio. We hope to have her back again, and we'll be sure to let you know when she does. We all had a great time, uncovered some very interesting topics about being a dominant and even had some cool laughs. I never knew there was such a fetish as being chased by a car!
  
  Again, WCR thanks our loyal listeners for a great chatroom. This is YOUR show, and as always, suggestions, comments and questions are important to us. Drop us a line, let us know what you'd like to hear on our show...we'll do our best to air your interests.

  Upcoming Series

  Greetings one and all. Time for a quick update on what's been going on with WCR. We've been welcoming some new fans and chatroom denizens of late, and we'd like to thank each and every one of them. Our first all-music show was a big success, and probably one of our more interesting shows. The chance to let down our hair, loosen up a bit and just have some non-topic fun was a welcome departure...and wound up being a riot. Definitely one to catch in the Archives if you weren't there live.
  
  This also worked for us last week as we brought a no-topic, rapid fire show to the air. With no idea what would happen when we started, it wound up being a very interesting and quite personal show. Everything from our love of "dumb blondes" and male "shaving" to first time bondage and the gap between male and female sexual fantasies was crammed into a rapid-fire one hour program.
  
  This coming week, we plan to kick off a three part series on the three major catagories of people who exist in the BDSM lifestyle. We'll begin with a roundtable show on "Dominants", to be followed by the same sort of format for "Submissives" and "Switches". Be sure to check back here as special guests get booked for these shows.

  Friday? FRIDAY?!?! Let's ROCK!!!

  Due to scheduling conflict, please note that this week's Wild Card Radio will broadcast live Friday Night, June 5th at our usual time slot of 11 PM Eastern (US). We'll be taking a break from our deep topics and doing our first All Music Show as a team. Lady Stardust and I have selected 14 sex-and-love related tunes for Sex Rox 2!!! The first Sex Rox show from months back, under the old WCR format, was a huge success and we hope for the same this time around. So, join us Friday Night for a special two-hour episode of the hottest, sexiest rock we could find!
