There's a new rising Country Music star on the scene and her name is Alyssa Morrissey. At just 15 years old, this Peterborough (Ontario) singer is already a seasoned pro having played at fairs, jamborees, resorts and in tribute shows. She's also won several local singing competitions and performed in a variety of musicals. Her influences include the Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood and Sheryl Crow. To quote her producer, the one and only Cyril Rawson, "she is in the true sense of the word a star, she has it all."
