Born June 11, 1987, Darryl grew up as a only child in a single-parent home. Early in life, teachers saw that Darryl was very creative in drawing, writing, and math and they focused on developing these skills. When Darryl turned 13, he started keeping nootbooks of poetry he would write...the topics where endless, but mainly focused on the situations in his environment. By the time Darryl graduated high school in 2005, he had (10) 100 page spiral notebooks filled with poetry, illustrations, and short-stories. Upon entering college the latter part of 2005, Darryl started marketing his poems as gifts to people he knew. In 2007, Darryl started A-State Universal Enterprises(ASUE) which is a front company for many ventures. Darryl currently owns a record label, clothing line, photography/modeling company, graphic design company, and is gearing to operating a publishing company. Currently, Darryl is a senior attending an HBCU-Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas double-majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and plans on pursuing Entertainment Law School either at UC Berklee or UCLA.
