Wish I had the opportunity to hear this show when it was live on the air so I could have called in. The issue of "traditional family values" and why feminists were against them is because they elevated men to ruler of the family status and women had no voice. Women were to stay at home and raise children with no options for self-actualization. "Traditional" family values meant that women had rigid roles of motherhood and the drudgery of housetending as a mandate.
