In case you didn't know, Georgia will be the first state to implement a school based totally on sexual orientation and gender identit. It's called the Pride School Atlanta. It's A first-of-its-kind private school in Atlanta, aimed at attracting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth and teachers, that is being established in Atlanta for students who feel bullied or not accepted in traditional schools.
I thought the LGBT community wanted to be treated "normal" and not different from everyone else. If so, why do feel the need to have their own "exclusive" school? There are many arguments that can be made about the trendsetting school, that's set to be up and running in September of 2016, so I'll love to hear from you all. Does this do more harm or hurt for the LGBT community? Are they being included into society's norm, or excluded?
