The Power Zone with DU welcomes Marcia Chambers on tonight’s show.   Marcia is a Toastmaster Governor, Entrepreneur, Life Coach and Sales Trainer.   She joins host, Darlene A. Anderson of Darlene’s Utopia and author of Not Without A Fight:  10 Ways To Win When it Appears You’ve Already Lost, to discuss the art of public speaking!

Marcia Chambers has been a toastmaster for two years and has over ten years of sales experience in the real estate industry.  She coaches entrepreneurs in speech presentation and honing their sales skills.  She brings her experience in overcoming her fear of presenting to small and large audiences, to help clients gain confidence and finesse with offering their Elevator Pitches, seamlessly.

Before becoming a sales trainer and coach, Marcia worked as a realtor for over ten years in the New York Tri State area.  She has earned her advanced accreditations with Toastmasters as a Club Vice President of Public Relations, Club President, Area Governor and now a nominee for Division Director.  In September she will receive her DTM – Distinguished Toastmasters, the highest achievement within the Toastmasters organization.

She believes, like Aristotle, that we are what we repeatedly do and therefore, excellence is not an act, but a habit.   Marcia lives in Brooklyn, New York and loves anything that makes her laugh!  She is currently chartering a Toastmasters Club for Entrepreneurs in Brooklyn.

Darlene’s Utopia is a company designed to empower, motivate and provide resources for clients through coaching, speaking engagements, and events.    To learn more visit us at www.darlenesutopia.com
