As I gaze out the back door, my mind races around like a car at a Indy track as king lions roar tries and tries to cross the finish line to win his peace of mind back. For a raging battle has begun within; a battle between war and peace the same war we all fight each day we leave our home and enter into the street.
This inner war, which causes words to fly like bullets from a machine gun; an inner war which has led to massive body counts of unbelievable amounts and more bloodshed than the Mayans sacrificed to the sun. King lions roar’s mind continues to spin, spinning out of control, that its all he can do to keep his fast beating heart from bursting from his chest onto the living room floor. This war has been raging since the dawn of man, from ancient Greece to Rome and Timbuktu, blood has been spilled from blind rage fueled from the war from within, pick any town near you. There is no question that king lion roar fights this inner war, just like the many civilizations which existed before. Sometimes I grow weary about ready to drop, as it seems at time as though I am treading water just to stay on top.
I grab onto a log as the rushing river flows, floating aimlessly down the river of hate hoping that someone will throw me a rope, made from the hemp called hope as I inhale deeply choking hard on the smoke. A ray from the sun beams into my mind, to calm the rushing river in the nick of time. A ray that comes like a life raft or a boat, but my body grows weak trying to stay at float. As far as I look, I see nothing from afar not seeing any boat, nor rescue plane or car. The war from within is winning this fight, as I choke on the water, but war can not win this fight. I am king lion roar I can never give hope, for my peace of mind is at stake, no time to bitch up.
So I take the fight to inner war pull my knife and slice like a butcher cutting deli meat in the cold of the night. I break out in a cold sweat tossing from side to side, one side I possess greatness and the other the dark side. A love so wide I can’t get around it, depression so low I can’t get under it. A hope so high I can’t get over it, but I am not just knee deep, but in way too deep to turn back now. The war is in full blaze, but wait, I can see the Light. Oh yes, oh yes it is God telling me to continue the fight as He will back my play in the fight for what’s right. So I look darkness in the eye and say “bring on the fight, for this fight is to the death and i am ready to fight.
No time to tear up, no where to run as king lion screams, here me now hear me roar as I shall win this fight, this inner war. The world is getting harder and colder I concede, but e must all keep fighting the inner war indeed. No time to cry, no time to moan, we got to keep on moving like Eric B on the cut and Rakim on the mic, no way no how we give up the fight. We must keep our head up, no time to sleep. Like a coin we flip, flip the choices between the love or the hate that separates; between the dogs of war or the doves of peace we must keep it moving each day in the street. A grip on serenity, the peace that flows within, the peace that comes from the Son, that light from within.
So I scream ”let there be light, God is on my side for the fight wages on from dusk to dawn. There is no time to give up, we must press on. The battle is over, the war has been won. Now I am free as a bird as I look towards the Son. I drop to my knees to give thanks with a smile; a great thanks to a loving God for not forsaking me. But somewhere on this planet, the war wages on, the battle from within the war of sin still presses on. This is what He said to me king lion help show people the light, so we can live in a world of peace with no need to to fight. So go out king lion tell the world of this day, go out into the world and show them the way. To do what is good and right in My sight, go now and spread the Sons message and the Light. To those who still fight the inner war tell them there is no need to fight, because God to can bless them to with the Holy Spirit and His Light........
