Here's a bit about Andrea from her website: Alexandrea Merrell grew up in the Midwest, the oldest child of a military aviator and his wife, a University professor and author. At 18 she moved to Boston to pursue a career in journalism as a foreign correspondent, but faced with a years long waiting list for the program at 19 Merrell relocated to New York City. After attending Hofstra University and New York University, where she studied political science and economics, she spent her early career pursuing acting while writing business articles, corporate portfolios, and customer service manuals for the financial and property industries. Through her twenties and thirties, despite having three children and working in several different industries, Merrell continued to write. In addition to penning multiple drama screen plays, she researched and wrote several documentaries focusing on social issues. One such documentary which focused on the failure of antiquated anti-stalking laws to protect people from modern day electronic and internet stalking, lead to Merrell being offered a place at film school. During her tenure as a “mature student,” Merrell focused on writing and producing projects about criminal justice reform, civil rights, First Amendment Limitations, and politics. In 2008, Merrell began writing about the ethical and legal irregularities in the Presidential campaign in her blog, Republi-Can. Continued reference by Obama and his wife to Saul Alinksy lead Merrell to research the corporate terrorist and the links between his organization and Obama. What she discovered was shocking, leading her to write “Rules For Republican Radicals” which dissects the tactics and techniques used by Team Obama to manipulate the media and voters.
