NINA HART, President of Six Hearts Publishing Inc.In 1989 her husband of 14 years and the father of her 6 children fled from the enormous responsibilities of parenting, though his goal was to have 10 children. Challenging as it was, herself and her children slowly recovered from a severely abusive relationship. The experience drove her to write her 1st book ‘Crosses to Bear Love to Share,’ A Dedication to Single Mothers. Not only was this book therapeutic for her but more importantly, she was able to impact the lives of thousands of women who were ready to give up and dilute their parental obligation. Many hours were spent after book-signings encouraging and motivating single mothers and to remind them that no matter the challenges, quitting is never ever an option. From her limited resources, she made financial contributions to assist other single mothers and their children.Ms.Hart has lived by one of her favorite quotes; “To every challenge there is a solution.” When her eldest son was denied admission to college with a failing GPA, she refused to take ‘no’ for an answer. This was an opportunity for her to demonstrate her commitment to her children’s success and put into practice what she has preached over the years. Today her son holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and lectures at a notable University in Florida.Statistics states that 90% of children who witness abuse will become abusers; well Ms.Hart defied that data and encourages other single mothers not to conform to negative statistics. The new and revised‘Crosses to Bear Love to Share,’ transitioned six abused children to becoming focused and driven individuals with a burning desire to change lives.Ms. Hart has spent over a decade in the Financial Industry, there she climbed to the top of the corporate ladder, but though she was financially stable, deep down she was empty. She exited Corporate America January 2008 and embraced Entrepreneurship; this afforded her the flexibility to pursue her passion.
