James 1:13-15
The first part of this verse is pretty self-explanatory. God does test His children, but He never tempts them to do evil. It is the devil who does that. We can never blame our temptation or our sin on God. Now, the meaning of this verse can be applied to any sin or temptation. But, its specific terminology makes it appropriate to the temptation of lust and various types of sexual sin.
