1. CT - The US Supreme Court unanimously affirmed today that religiously affiliated organizations—including hospitals, schools, and daycares—are exempt from the US Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

2. AP - A Southern California jury awarded $2 million to the granddaughter of Trinity Broadcasting Network founders Jan and Paul Crouch, finding that her grandmother acted outrageously in refusing to report the girl’s sexual assault by an employee.  

3. WashPost - Authorities on Monday arrested two people in California and charged them both with manslaughter for the warehouse fire that killed 36 people in Oakland in December, alleging that the facility was a “firetrap.”
