One of the things we see in the Old Testament is how that people dated events in their lives by the number of years the king had been in power. For example, Daniel says, "In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me after that which appeared unto me at the first..." I believe that, instead of whining and complaining, we ought to use every president’s term as a time marker to accomplish things that God wants us to accomplish in our own lives. Here are some ways that you can get started doing that.
