PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled "Demons Unleashed (Part 1)" from Dr. Ed Hindson's book "Revelation: Unlocking the Future."

The fifth and sixth trumpets announce an unprecedented crisis: a demonic oppression followed by a military invasion that includes an incredible display of modern weaponry and military technology. The result is that one-third of the world is wiped out.

Satan is determined to destroy this planet. The Bible describes him as the "father of lies". He is pictured as the ultimate deceiver. His name means "accuser", and he is depicted as the accuser of God and His people. He is opposed to God and seeks to alienate men from the truth. He misled fallen angels, and he tempts men and women to sin against God's laws. He denies and rejects the truth of God and deceives those who perish without God. Ultimately, he inspires the very spirit of antichrist.

OCCUPY TILL I COME: We are continuing our journey through the book, "Coming Events and Present Duties," by J.C. Ryle. This section is titled, "Watch" (Part 10) based on the parable of the foolish and wise virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. J.C. Ryle writes: 

In our view of man's corruption, of justification by faith, of our need of the sanctifying work of the Spirit, of the sufficiency of Scripture — upon these points I believe we would find that modern believers are much of one mind with believers at Corinth, Ephesus, Philippi, or Rome, in former times. But in our view of the second advent of Christ, I fear we would find there was a mighty difference between us and them, if our experience could be compared.
