Tim Keller said, "Sometimes you don't get the strength out of prayer that you want. But you won't get any strength at all without prayer."

Our prayer motivator passage from the Word of God today is Psalm 69:13 which reads: "But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation."

Our prayer motivator quote today is from Matthew Hagee. He said, "Effective prayer is exciting prayer. James 5:16 reads, 'The effective fervent prayer of the righteousness avails much.' The key here is that if there is effective prayer then there is efficient prayer. I believe that ineffective prayer is the number one reason why people don’t pray more. Have you ever heard someone say, 'I tried praying, but it doesn’t work.' The truth is that it does work. Prayer works every time when you do it properly. The Bible tells us in James 4:3, 'You ask and don’t receive because you ask amiss.' Praying effectively isn’t impossible; in fact, it is as simple as having a conversation with your best friend. But you need to know the Biblical basis for prayer before you effectively do it. When you pray ineffectively it leads to frustration and frustration leads to confusion, discouragement, and doubt. Once you have reached the point of doubt then your prayers are powerless."
