N. Korea may be preparing for missile test; Anti-semitism on the rise (Second Coming Watch Update #3

1. According to The Associated Press, a top South Korean national security official said that North Korea may be setting the stage for a missile test or another provocative act with its warning that it soon will be unable to guarantee the safety of foreign diplomats.

2. According to The Associated Press, Israeli researchers and Jewish leaders reported a 30 percent jump in anti-Semitic violence and vandalism last year and expressed alarm about the rise of far-right parties in Hungary, Greece and other countries. 

3. According to The Associated Press, a senior Israeli official says world powers should give Iran an ultimatum to curb its nuclear program. Israel's minister of intelligence and strategic affairs spoke a day after Iran and six world powers failed to agree at talks in Kazakhstan on how to reduce fears Tehran might use its technology to make weapons. 

4. According to The Telegraph of Great Britain, America has delayed an intercontinental ballistic missile test to avoid stoking tensions with North Korea, as fears escalated that weeks of angry rhetoric could erupt into conflict on the Korean peninsula. 

5. According to Russia Today, the US Geological Survey said a 6.2 magnitude earthquake was registered in the border area between Russia, China and North Korea.
