Our prayer motivator verse from the Word of God today is Matthew 6:9-13.

Our prayer motivator quote today is from Leonard Ravenhill. He said: "No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. The pulpit can be a shop window to display one's talents; the prayer closet allows no showing off."

Our prayer motivator devotional today is part 7 of our new series titled "DOES GOD WORK MIRACLES TODAY?" from Dr. John R. Rice.

We must remember that faith is a gift of God, and that the Holy Spirit will not help us to have faith about wicked things, things out of the will of God. The apostles did not move that mountain into the sea, and others have not done so yet. But the promise of Jesus Christ still stands, and miracles, He said, are possible for "whosoever...shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass."

And then Jesus gave the general law of miracles in answer to prayer when He concluded, in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." How blessed it is t
