Israeli defense minister says a decision on Iran must be made now. According to Ynet News, Defense Minister Ehud Barak continued to address speculation of a possible military attack against Iran during a Knesset session, and explained why a decision on Iran must be made now. Barak said that dealing with a nuclear Iran would be incomparably more dangerous and more expensive.

Iran's supreme leader says Israel will disappear from the map. According to The Jerusalem Post, with America sending clear public signals to Israel that it is opposed to military action now against Iran, and a cacophonous debate on the matter in Israel, senior Iranian officials continue to threaten Israel with destruction. Iranian Supreme Leader Ay-a-toll-ah Ali Kha-men-ei Wednesday that he was confident "the Zionist regime will disappear from the landscape of geography." Khamenei made the comments during a meeting with veterans of the Iran-Iraq War.

A Christian pastor has been kidnapped in Pakistan. According to Pakistan Christian Post, Pastor Kelvin of Punjab province was kidnapped when he went to shop for Pakistani flags to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day. He had been preaching the Gospel in areas that were not friendly to Christians and radical Muslims had been threatening him for months. The alleged kidnappers called his wife and ordered her not to report the kidnapping to the police. The pastor still has not been located.
