I Corinthians 6:13, 15, 18 says, “...Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body...Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid...Flee fornication: Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”
Having sex before marriage may be pleasurable, but when the act is over, it yields a lot of heartache and pain down the road. Now, before I go into the reasons why you should not have sex before marriage, let me emphasize here, that a man can only do with you what you allow him to do. In other words, a man cannot have sex with you unless you let him. No matter how much pleading or nice words he uses on you toward that end, no matter how often he tells you he loves you, you are still the one in control. And this is one area of your life that you need to remain in control of.
