GLMX #83: Who is This?

In Matthew 21, verses 1 through 11, Jesus Christ is making His triumphant entry into Jerusalem and when He arrives there, the people of the city ask an important question: Verses 10 and 11 say, "And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." 

Today is commonly known as Palm Sunday and begins the week leading up to Easter Sunday when we celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The people of Jerusalem asked an important question upon Jesus' arrival - WHO IS THIS? Today, we want to take a moment and talk about who Jesus Christ is or as Psalm 24:10 puts it, "Who is this King of glory?" 

Jesus is one of the most controversial figures in history. His true identity is what separates all world religions. Some claim He is just a good man and a prophet, others say He is a created being; still others say He is the Son of God. Every major religion acknowledges Jesus but only one can be right about who He really is. If you are seeking the truth, the beginning point of your search should be on the person of Jesus.
