Israeli Defense Forces have recently 'thwarted 10 terror plots from Sinai'. According to the Jerusalem Post, head of Israeli Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Aviv Ko-cha-vi revealed that the IDF has thwarted 10 different terrorist plots to attack Israel from the Sinai Peninsula in the past two months. Speaking at a graduation ceremony for new Military Intelligence officers, Kochavi said that the firing of a Kat-yu-sha rocket into Eilat from the Sinai late Wednesday night was a demonstration of the changes that are sweeping through the Middle East. Kochavi said that "as a result, we will need to prepare for new challenges and fronts, for an increase in the threats and for more instability throughout the region in the coming years."

Gaza militants vow to continue 'struggle' as Israel seals borders for the Passover. According to the Associated Press, a Palestinian militant leader said that his group's "struggle" against Israel will continue despite a cease-fire that stopped an exchange of fire between the Gaza Strip and Israel last month. The statement by Sheik Na-fez Az-zam of Islamic Jihad at a Gaza rally came as Israel vowed to strike against the yet-unidentified militants who launched a rocket into the southern Israeli town of Eilat. Gaza regularly sees days- or weeks-long outbreaks of violence, in which rockets are fired into Israel and airstrikes launched at militant targets in the territory, followed by months-long cease-fires.

The Bible says in Joel 3:16, "The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel."
