Puppy Dogs vs Pit Bulls.. what can of Man do Women really want?

Are all men dogs and if so... what kind of dog are they? Well if they are we've broken the "dogs" into two categories... Pit Bulls and Puppy Dogs. Women say they don't want a puppy dog... a man they can walk all over. But they also say they don't want a pit bull either... a man that will wall all over THEM. So, what's a woman to do? Check it out on NowWhat!

Pitt Bulls vs. Puppy Dogs: What Kind of Man do Women Really Want?

Do women want a rough and tough guy who has edge and plenty of swagger or a sweet, sensitive man who is not afraid to show his softer side?  “Pit Bulls vs. Puppy Dogs: What kind of Man does a Woman really Want?” that’s what we’re talking about on Do you or someone you know seem to attract the wrong kind of men?  Or, do you just want to know why women fall for the men we do?  I’ll be dishing the dirt along with two dynamic ladies and my very first male panelist on the choices women make in men...where we go wrong...and how we can fix the problem?

    My panelist for the show:

Back for an encore appearance is Kendell Renee Kelly, a strong, independent, intellectual property lawyer who specializes in sports and entertainment... she calls it "Lifestyle Law".  Kelly runs an unconventional, cutting-edge, practice that tailors her law expertise to best assist her client’s needs.  She is single and dating but not about to settle for just any man, be it a Pit Bull, Puppy Dog, or something somewhere in-between.  Kendall has a no-nonsense take on dating and is not afraid to share her opinions.... and if you’re looking for legal advice, you can visit her on the web at http://www.kendellkelly.com

Nayada Cowherd, an independent producer, writer and public relations specialist will be joining us on the panel as well.  Nayada has dabbled in local and national politics, working on several campaigns and producing political news segments. She has served as a guest commentator on various panel discussions on social issues including “Generation X” and “Operation Know Thyself”, groups that challenged youth of color to understand who they are and their role in society.  Recently divorced, Nayada is the mother of two sons that she is raising “to be the men that women will want to marry and be happy with”.  You’ll be engaged and surprised by what she says she now wants in man and the advice she has for other women.

Charles Branche is my very first man to jump in the hot seat and join us at the top of the hour on NowWhat!  Charles is a self proclaimed Puppy Dog who states “women SAY they want Puppy Dogs but what they really want are Pit bulls”.  He’s a divorced father of two, gainfully employed and enjoys being out with women. He is going to be joining us at the top of the hour to give us his perspective on the kind of man women really want.  I can’t wait to hear what he has to say!

Hope to have your input during the show or stop back by any time and listen at your leisure!  I'll be listening for you on line!!!!

Women and Self-Esteem: Understanding and Improving the Way We Think and Feel About Ourselves. We'll examine the reasons why we are so down on ourselves and examine ways to help improve our worldview of our self worth

Women and Self-Esteem: How we can love oursleves

March is Women’s History Month honoring the consciousness and knowledge of women throughout history.  With so many strong women to admire these days why do so many of us still dislike ourselves? Why are we women embarrassed to "esteem" ourselves? Is it a function of the media or our cultural? Self-esteem is a core identity issue, essential to personal validation and our ability to experience joy. The “esteem of self” comes from the inside out. But it is assaulted or stunted from the outside in. A woman with low self-esteem does not feel good about herself because she has absorbed negative messages about women from all the sensory signals around her.

This time in our cultural and history honors youth, beauty and thinness which sets most woman up to fail. Many girls learn, by age 12, how to master the ability to diet.  Then, as we age, cosmetic surgery, entices us to "repair" our aging bodies, as if the natural process of aging were an accident or a disease. Yet with all this effort, many women still feel like they aren't good enough.

Are you proud of yourself? Do you lie about your age or what you do for a living? Are you happy in your “skin” or are you obsessing about losing weight?  If you answered yes to one or more of these question chances are you have a problem with self-esteem and this show is for you.  We'll explore the reasons why we women are so down on ourselves and examine ways to help improve our self worth.  Joining me in on the discussion...
