Ever have one of those women in your life who you meet once and they become a girlfriend for life.  Well, for me thats JD.  She and I did some business together over six years ago when I was working at Walt Disney World and we just vibed.  We've been friends ever since and I consider her one of the folks who always lifts me up when life knocks me down... that's what sister friends do afterall.  So, I thought it appropriate to end 2008 with JD, some of her girls that she's known for 30 years and one of my BFF's that I've know for over 25 years. 

Here's some background on the ladies who will be joining me tongiht for Episode 2 of NowWhat! Blog Talk Radio.

Jill Devers is 44 years old and calls Chicago home. She's every man's dream because she is smart, attractive and KNOWS her sports.  In fact, Jill is a  marketing consultant specializing in sports marketing.  Fellas... eat your hearts out. She's well accomplished, a former board member of Michigan State University Black Alumni and president of MSUBA Chicago.  JD has completed her graduate internship with the Chicago Bulls and is also a member of the National Association of Black Sports Professionals.  Yet, like me, she is single, never married, (go figure) and has no kids.

Cheryl Harvey is also 44 and a native of suburban Detroit, Michigan.  Currently working for the Federal government as a recruiter for the Department of Commerce Cheryl is single, never been married, but in a serious relationship for over a year now.  Cheryl is ready to jump the broom sometime within the next year or so and will probably have a fabu wedding because she loves to decorate and plan events.  But Cheryl works on civic activities through her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta.  Looking forward to spending the years ahead with family and friends traveling, shopping, eating good food, drinking fine wine and making a positive impact on the world.

Keri Douglas is one of my oldest and dearest friends from Howard University.  She is an Educator a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist who specializes in skin care and body therapies.  To top it all off, she holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.  As if that's not enough, Keri is the single mother of two adult boys, one of whom is my Godson, and she's back in school studying photography at the College of Southern Maryland
