    My First Show with my Twitter Gal Pals...

     Well, it’s been a long time coming but I’m finally ready to launch my NowWhat! Blog Talk Radio show.  I’ve recorded some interested shows and met some wonderful women over the past few months.  But, December 17 at 11:30 PM EST (8:30 PM if you’re on the Left Coast) you’re going to get a chance to get a birds eye view into the life of modern every day women.  The three fabulous women I’ll be interviewing are intelligent, outspoken, career women who have learned a thing or two about life and are willing to share what they’ve learned with you.  We’re going to come together to do what we women do… TALK... and you all get to listen in.  Why do we talk so much you ask?  Well, for me I can tell you that my girls ground me, encourage me, uplift me but most of all they save me an enormous amount of money on psychotherapy bills when they are talking me off the ledge.  So we talk to work things out amongst ourselves while we act as barometer for what is sane and what may be crazy. I feel sorry for me who don't have this outlet but hey... this isn't about them... it's about what makes a women tick.
    The women I’ll be interviewing are what I like to call my Twitter Girls.  We recently met at a Tweet Up… where people who are on the Twitter social network actually get together in person to socialize… what a concept!  We had such a good conversation that I thought these ladies would be perfect for the launch of my new show.  We’ll be talking about things we gave up for our careers, what we’d change if we could get a “do over”, relationships, messages to the next generation of women and the everyday pressure of being to ourselves.  Meet my Twitter gal pals…
     
    Robin Owens-Wright is your "go to" woman for all things in New and Digital Media.  Robin’s career took her from IBM to the Oracle Corporation doing marketing and sales for such clients as NASA and Department of Education. In 1995, Robin started Executive Levels International successfully locating top executive management in an ever-growing, global marketplace of technology.  As an expert in executive search and placement, Robin has demonstrated success in locating mission-critical talent.  In addition to running Executive Levels, Robin recently started a new venture called New Media Hire which is a job board and community site for the digital media sector to include career resources, networking, video, events, polls and much more. Robin’s professionalism and drive for excellence were developed throughout an exemplary career.  We are lucky to have her as part of the show where she’ll share your ideas on balancing being a Mom, wife, and running your own business from home.

    Beverly Jackson is my marketing guru.  Right now she is doing it big in Marketing & Strategic Alliances.  Between closing the big deals in her current job, Beverly's role
    involves Client Relations, Marketing and Event Management, Promotions and Event Execution, Entertainment Marketing, Sponsorship Sales, Online Marketing, Product Development.  Beverly and I went to Howard University together but we didn’t really become friends until much later.  However, there is just something about an HBCU experience that ties us for life.  Not sure what an HBCU is?  Please look it up and once you do donate to the cause to help further the education of a young person in need.  While Beverly and I connected after our college days, our common experience has made up more alike than different.  We both love to live life to the fullest.  We've hung out together at more events than I can count and share a love of fashion, travel, music, food, networking and now, our new addiction… social networking.   Beverly will give us some insight into being a wife, a career women and how she adds balance to it all.

    Shannon Mouton, my new friend will join us as well.  When you walk into a room and notice a presence like no other… no doubt… that will be Shannon.  At least that’s what I thought when I first experienced her energy.  She writes this about herself “I live in Washington, DC, one of the most beautiful places on earth. My personal mantra, "live your life, this isn't a dress rehearsal, you don't get very many do-overs, and guilt is a wasted emotion."  She’s witty, opinionated, smart and loads of fun.  Shannon and Beverly are Twitter queens and I love to read their rants and raves.  Shannon, however, is a Twitter heavy weight and is ranked 5,026 on Twitterholic! and is 50th in Washington DC.  Now, that's a lot of tweeting going on!Shannon shares my single status and will give us some insight into how eligible "good" women could still in search of a man who is worthy of us.  She'll also give us a look into the life of a successful career women in Chocolate City where we are outnumber by an insane about of women to every one man.
