Good link building with the proper anchor text is so important as we started to discuss in our last segment.

Here is an example of some proper anchor text with points to my new site because the anchor text is the words I am targeting:  Visit my site to read about what I consider to be a unique fundraising idea and a novel fundraising idea.

Now Google and other search engines know that this site is about a 'unique fundraising idea' and a 'novel fundraising idea' because those words directly link to the site.

Over time, if I build enough links, I should be able to come up on the first page of Google for these terms.

Ezinearticles.com  is the main article directory that Google loves.  There are many other good article directories as well.
