She sings, she dances, and she emanates the joy she feels from the music. Currently, Lina is a lead singer for one of the most in demand cover bands in Southwest Florida, Zombie University. Having played their first show in July of 2011, this band has taken off and is now the “go to” band for large scale events like the Funkfest featuring the funk band, Here Come The Mummies, the All-Star Baseball game for the minor league team The Stone Crabs, and most recently they are scheduled to play the German-American Club’s Beer Festival in Cape Coral, Florida. Each weekend, Zombie University plays at local venues throughout Southwest Florida and Lina is incredibly honored to be able to do what she loves with a group of musicians she considers her extended family.Recently, Lina had the privilege of sharing the stage (once again) with Motown recording legend, Mr. Glenn Leonard former lead singer of The Temptations. She joined Hitsville Live and toured Florida, Illinois and Indiana. The highlight for Lina was performing at the Lincoln Theater in Springfield, Illinois. Some of the musical greats, such as Bob Hope, once graced that stage and it was an amazing experience.
