A teen rap entertainer, by the name of YUNG RO, from St. Louis is combating the odds by strengthen his business foundation. This young grinder is CEO of Black Pearl Entertainment(BPEnt) a 16 year company based in downtown St.Louis which umbrellas a tattoo parlor, a recording studio, and a youth awareness foundation Runway2Empowerment. With keen business ethics and a diverse ethnicity, he has achieved many national accomplishments that some majors have yet to achieve. Yung Ro has charted Billboard Music Charts twice on four separate charts (Hip Hop, International, & Single Sales). His music has been in rotation on national FM stations giving him a BDS rating that indies wish. He's been reviewed in national publications such as Right On, Ozone, Radio-One Frequency, and even appeared on BET Rap City at age 15. What sets him apart is that he is generation X of a successful movement, therefore is father instilled the elements that made YUNG RO the mogul he is today. He father,Roland Page Sr, originally pushed his son to pursue a basketball career however Ro passion for music over powered his athleticism. Roland Sr a famous tattoo artist exposed his son to the likes of NELLY, Spice One, JKwon, Brand Nubian, and many more. It was only a matter of time that YUNG RO would be influence by the lyrical craft of Hip Hop. Recently the teen entertainer won a St. Louis history five awards at the Radio=One Traffic Music Awards and two awards at the Hot List Awards. Whats amazing is, that he did it.
