Slick was born Antoine Ashford, on July 18, 1983, in San Francisco, CA. Antoine was given the nickname “Slick” by his mother when he was only 18 months of age because of his good looks, soft smooth slick hair and being slick with the ladies. Slick began his musical career when he was 6 years of age, which was not surprising as he comes from a long line of musicians in his family. Slick has created and produced 6 albums & released 3 into the streets. The first album he had released was “Memories Erase”. The second being “Da Good Shepherd”. Followed by “Parking Lott Platnium”, “It Iz What It Iz”, and “True Story”. Slick is currently working on a new album, “Slappy BooBoo” that is to be released nationally. Slick has been threw a lot to get where he is at in his career. From being abused and abandoned as a child, separated from his brothers, living in different cities, being homeless in the streets with nothing at all to now having the finer things in life and craving the goal for success. Pushing for that success, Slick started his own Record Company PPH (Pimp, Playaz, Hustlaz) Records in 1997. Slick has been a survivor since birth and because of that he is now considered one of the best entertainers that has come out of the Bay Area. In 2010 Slick joined forces with B.T.P. (Big Tyme Promotions Entertainment) to assist with taking his career to the next level. He has collaborated with multiple Bay Area and International artists and has been featured on several albums and mix tapes. At this stage in his musical career, he has dedicated time to train as a professional boxer as well as work with kids in the Fairfield school district. Slick thrives for perfection at all ventures that he faces which will only lead to one result…SUCCESS
