Study to show thyself approved

In this episode I will be talking about the importance for christians to study the word for themselves.  In todays world of shallow modern christianity which has greatly wavered from the true biblical principles of the early church most christians only hear the word once a week at church and never study it for themselves.   God has commanded all christians to study the word in order to grow closer to him and be equipped to serve him.  With so many people never getting past a kindergarten level of biblical understanding we see that the majority of christians in America and much of the world are very lukewarm and complacent in their faith and very few believers these days truly love the Lord with all of their heart.
