Let's now begin our discussion of God's Holy Word. We have been talking about the Fall of Man in this week's episode as we explore the Book of Genesis and its meaning in regards to our Christian faith. Today's Bible verse comes from the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3, verse 19. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” For those of you who are just joining the discussion, this is God talking to Adam after he had eaten from the TKGE. In previous episodes we have discussed what this tree represents and have decided that it probably represents a set of laws that God established in the beginning when He divided Light from Darkness, Good from Evil. Since eating from the tree, man would now be under the curse of the law. And this curse is death.TTC: If we look at this passage from a spiritual perspective, then what kind of bread do you think God is referring to? From a spiritual perspective, the bread God is referring to is the teachings of the Law that came from the tree. And the fruit of this tree would bring death. We need to look at two verses. 00:11:00Daily Bible ReflectionsnoGenesis 3:19,Jesus,Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil,Tree of Life,GodI want to welcome you to the Daily Bible Reflections Class where each day a verse is given from God's Word that allows us the opportunity to comment on or sharDaily Bible Reflections - Genesis 3:17-18http://www.blogtalkradio.com/dailybiblereflections/2015/03/11/daily-bible-reflections--genesis-317-18Religionhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/dailybiblereflections/2015/03/11/daily-bible-reflections--genesis-317-18/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/dailybiblereflections/2015/03/11/daily-bible-reflections--genesis-317-18Wed, 11 Mar 2015 03:00:00 GMTDaily Bible Reflections - Genesis 3:17-18I want to warmly welcome you to the Daily Bible Reflections Class where each day a Bible verse is given from God's Word that allows us the opportunity to comment on or share the meaning of His Word with other Believers and perhaps with those who are new in their faith and need understanding regarding Scriptural meaning and interpretation. Today's Bible verse comes from the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3, verse 16. It says, To the woman he said,“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;  with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." For those of you who have not read this particular part of Scripture, this is God speaking to Eve in the Garden of Eden. She had eaten the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And because of her disobedience, God punished her for it. And as we have seen throughout the centuries, what God spoke in regards to her punishment came to pass. Women have been ruled by their husbands and until recently had very little rights.   00:07:00Daily Bible ReflectionsnoBible,Christianity,Scripture,Daily Bible Verse,JesusIntroduction to show: I want to warmly welcome you to the Daily Bible Reflections Class where each day a Bible verse is given from God's Word that allows us
