Two thousand years of human history have rolled on, and we still face these same questions about marriage and divorce. Few issues have been more difficult for the church to resolve. These inspired biblical passages provide the basis for our understanding of marriage as a sacred union that carries God-ordained responsibilities for both husband and wife. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. Matthew 19 verse 6.
