Ed brings over 25 years of sales, marketing, services, business development and software development experience to our listeners.

With a strong background in enterprise sales, McGarr has also held key executive positions at Novell Inc., including VP of Services  Business Development ( Consulting, Education, and Support Services), VP of Marketing for the GroupWise Division, and VP of Product Marketing for all of Novell. He was instrumental in building GroupWise market share and leading growth from 8 to 22 million seats, as well as building strategic sales and alliances with enterprise accounts, key channel partners, and major consulting organizations.

Ed held key sales roles at WordPerfect Corp. prior to the company being acquired by Novell in 1995. Prior to joining Senforce, McGarr held executive sales positions at Star Bridge Systems Inc. and Sorenson Media.

Ed began his career as a software engineer, working for such organizations as Lundy Computer Graphics and Konica Inc. McGarr holds a bachelor of sciences in Engineering form Brigham Young University, and an Associates Degree from S.U.N.Y.
