Amara Vadee is a designer and marketer with one objective: to make the world a better place through meaningful design and honest communication.

She grew up under the influence of glossies like Esquire and Newsweek that initially cultivated her love of graphic design. Amara broke into the field of graphic design at the age of twelve when her teachers noticed her knack for visual communication. Through guidance and a lot of self-discipline, she taught herself a few graphic design basics, like Adobe PageMaker, HTML and CSS. In high school she developed her design skills and explored other artistic avenues, specifically photography and mixed media composition.

She attended a number of colleges and explored a variety of majors — military science, nursing, anthropology, and archaeology — before returning to her first love of design. In 2005 she received a scholarship to attend Art Center of College of Design. She graduated with her BA in Art: Graphic Design in 2007 after completing her course of study at CSU San Bernardino.
